Laundry Facilities

Laundry services can be outsourced to an external company. If not outsourced, the accommodation management must provide common laundry utilities with a defined schedule and an assigned person to manage the service. Common laundry facilities must be located at the ground floor and provided with hot and cold water, ventilation, air conditioning, drainage, and sufficient lighting.

Waste Disposal

Waste disposal mechanisms must comply with the environmental and health conditions set by the relevant authority. Sealed waste containers must be provided in sufficient numbers and cleaned and emptied daily. At least one waste container must be mounted on a wood, metal, or concrete base. Housing units must be cleaned daily.

Pest Control

Effective procedures must be taken to prevent the existence and reproduction of pests, insects, and rodents. A company specialised in pest control must be appointed and licensed by the competent authority. The pest control company must keep all records and reports of its activities in the housing unit.
